Lynk was originally formed in 2005 as Lynk Properties LLC.  Lynk was founded as a pure real estate investment company.  Throughout the years, Lynk has evolved into a company that has been part of multiple companies generally in both the healthcare industry and real estate industry.  Lynk created its first real estate investment portfolio in 2005 with properties throughout Florida.  In 2007, Lynk acquired its first healthcare business – the Assisted Living Facility where our Founder’s grandmother was residing.  Since then, Lynk grew in both industries.  The opportunities and experiences of Lynk have helped support multiple companies grow.  In this experience, Lynk has learned the value of teamwork.  Through its extensive and varied experience, expertise and background, Lynk discovered its true value and strength is in providing the support and investment services that has become Lynk Ventures today.  As our Mission/Vision state, our primary aim is to Together Earn A lot of Merit.  The services, mission and vision of Lynk closely mirror the experience, expertise and background of our Founder and C.E.O., Frank C. Mena, Esq.

Frank C. Mena, Esq. is the Founder, C.E.O. and Managing Member of Lynk. Frank founded Lynk in 2005.  Through Lynk and its affiliates and subsidiaries, Frank has owned, operated and/or managed over fifty (50) health care and residential properties throughout Florida.  Frank has also owned, managed and/or provided general legal and operational consul to multiple health care entities including assisted living facilities, medical centers, home health care companies, durable medical equipment companies, health care staffing companies, and medical supplies distribution. Frank was also recently appointed by Mayor Dan Gelber and the Miami Beach Commissioners as a member of the City of Miami Beach Health Advisory Committee.

Lynk acquired its first Assisted Living Facility (“ALF”) in 2007.  Since then, Lynk’s subsidiaries and affiliates opened an additional four ALFs and provided care to hundreds of elderly residents throughout South Florida. Lynk sourced the properties, arranged the financing, led the design and renovations/construction, handled the zoning and land use requirements, secured the licensing, and managed the start-up, stabilization and continued operation of the facilities.  Lynk’s facilities have included Limited Nursing Services Licensing, Mental Health Licensing, and contracted Hospice care services.  Lynk’s founder has also served on the Board and provided general consulting to one of the largest privately owned non-hospital based home health companies in Miami-Dade County.

Lynk has been an investor, principal and/or Board Member for a medical centers company, a management services organization (“MSO”), a durable medical equipment company and a home physician services.  Lynk has also worked closely with and provided general legal and business consulting services to a nationwide healthcare staffing company and an international medical supplies distributor.

Since its creation in 2005, Lynk and has owned, operated and/or managed over fifty (50) health care and residential properties throughout Florida.  Lynk is a full service real estate investment and management company focusing on health care,, senior living and residential properties throughout Florida. Lynk handles all aspects related to a real estate investment; from locating and investigating potential investment opportunities through its subsidery – M&M Real Estate Brokerage, LLC, performing financial and market analyses of the project and surrounding areas, arranging the financing and closing, to maintaining and managing the properties to ensure total occupancy and maximize cash flow.  Lynk has been involved as either an owner, investor, property manager, broker and/or general consultant on over $50,000,000 of real estate.

Lynk’s founder is a member of the Florida Bar and received his Juris Doctorate from Columbia University School of Law in 2000.  Frank began his legal career at one of the most prestigious law firms in Florida, Squire Sanders & Dempsey, f/k/a, Steel Hector & Davis LLP (“Steel Hector”).  At Steel Hector, Frank was in the International Corporate and Construction Law practice areas where he represented domestic and multi-national banks, governments, and developers.  Frank also worked out of Steel Hector’s Brazil offices for one year assisting multi-national clients with business interests in the United States, and vice versa.  Frank then accepted a job as Executive Vice-President and General Counsel for a lending company with approximately 250 locations throughout the country.  Frank is also the Founder of Mena Law, PLLC, which provides general legal counsel to multiple healthcare and real estate companies.
